Gerontology Nursing Program
Becoming a licensed Registered Nurse Anesthetists is a top choice for many Nuses globally because of the sizable paychecks and high job security. As a licensed Registered Nurse Anesthetists, you will work side by side with surgeons, anesthesiologists, dentists, and other specialized healthcare specialists. Prescribing and administering anesthesia to patients during medical procedures, providing pain management, and overseeing patient recovery will be some of the tasks you come across daily if you follow the licensed registered nurse anesthetist path.
The duration of this specialty Nursing program is 18 months, 3 semesters program and is awaiting approval by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN) and is run by Soarstar College of Nursing Sciences. Furthermore, upon graduation students will be licensed by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria and work as a Registered Nurse Anesthetist.
