Department of Public Health Nursing
Welcome to the Department of Public Health Nursing at Soarstar College of Nursing Sciences. Our Programs
Diploma of Science in Nursing with a Focus on Public Health: This program is designed to provide students with a strong foundation in nursing practice, while also emphasising the principles and practices of public health. Students learn about health promotion, disease prevention, epidemiology, community assessment and program planning and evaluation.
Public Health Nursing: Our public health nursing program offers advanced training for nurses seeking to specialise in public health nursing. The program covers topics such as health policy, global health issues, program management and population health assessment and intervention.
