Department of Post Basic Mental Health Nursing Welcome to the Department of Post Basic Mental Health Nursing at Soarstar College of Nursing Sciences. Our department is dedicated to preparing nurses with advanced knowledge and skills to provide comprehensive care for individuals experiencing mental health challenges. Our Program Post Basic Diploma in Mental Health Nursing: This program is designed for registered nurses seeking specialised training in mental health nursing. Department of Basic Midwifery Welcome to the Department of Basic Midwifery at Soarstar College of Nursing Sciences. This is a three-year(3-year), six-semester Basic Midwifery Nursing program approved by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN). At the end of this 3-year program, our student will be awarded Diploma qualification in Midwifery (Registered Midwife) by The Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria.
