Department of Intensive Care Nursing (ICU) Welcome to the Department of Intensive Care Nursing at Soarstar College of Nursing Sciences. Our Programs Postgraduate Diploma in Intensive Care Nursing: Our postgraduate diploma program in intensive care nursing is designed for registered nurses who wish to advance their knowledge and skills in critical care nursing. The program covers advanced topics in critical care management, including hemodynamic monitoring, mechanical ventilation, pharmacology and advanced cardiac life support (ACLS). Department of Post Basic Mental Health Nursing

Department of Post Basic Mental Health Nursing Welcome to the Department of Post Basic Mental Health Nursing at Soarstar College of Nursing Sciences. Our department is dedicated to preparing nurses with advanced knowledge and skills to provide comprehensive care for individuals experiencing mental health challenges. Through a blend of theoretical instruction, practical training and clinical experiences, we equip our students to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those affected by mental illness. Our Program Post Basic Diploma in Mental Health Nursing: This program is designed for registered nurses seeking specialised training in mental health nursing. It covers a wide range of topics, including psychiatric assessment, therapeutic interventions, psychopharmacology, crisis intervention and recovery-oriented care. The duration of this specialty Nursing program is 18 months, 3 semesters program and is awaiting approval by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN) and is run by Soarstar College of Nursing Sciences. At the end of this 3-year program, our students will be awarded Diploma qualification in General Nursing (Registered Nurse) by The Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria. Furthermore, upon graduation students will be licensed by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria to practice Nursing in Nigeria. Department of Basic Midwifery Welcome to the Department of Basic Midwifery at Soarstar College of Nursing Sciences.
